So what's the deal with the new patch and the current mods? Are they still running or do they have to be re-worked first?
Secondly, i'm on dial-up and i just want to know if you guys can tell me about some processes or things i can turn off to get a little better ping, and yes i already have all the game settings at the lowest quality and i need MORE!

Seriously though, for multiplayer there's not a lot you can do to get around sucking ping when you on a phone line. It is your bottleneck. My advice is to don't run around corners because with your lag you probably won't know where you really are on the map. I think we've all had to work around your issue at some time and the only 2 things that work are move slowly and carefully or get dsl.

Sun, February 8, 2004 - 7:25 PMAh. I had no problems with the patch, neither did our whole crew to my knowledge. Then again, I'm on dsl so what's affecting you may be affecting me but it's not noticeable for the better bandwidth. /shrug I say fish around the web some more. Cheers. -

Sun, February 8, 2004 - 7:39 PMCtually i think i solved my problem. My sister hadn't dfraged or cleaned her user side of my pc so i think that was slowing me down. i know before i did my side that was slowing it way down.
